TurboVolt works with leading manufacturers to offer the fastest and best EV charging hubs to charge multiple cars simultaneously. TurboVolt needed an initial logo design, fonts and a colour palette to communicate a new brand concept - with the aim of bringing on board staff and investors. To support outreach, the business needed a 3 page holding website and a pitch deck template. The business needed to launch a new brand and website within a fortnight.

Delivery & impact

I empowered the business to kick-start funding and outreach activities and I was able to hand over to an agency later down the line once they were ready to take the brand and business further.

Process & approach

Research

We kicked things off with two briefing calls. Following this, I carried out research into the industry and target market.

Conceptualise

Using my research and understanding of why the business exists and what they want to provide, I defined core visual keywords.

Application

I proposed 6 logo variations for the client and a color palette. Upon approval, I chose the brand typography, defined some basic rules and UI elements. Usually I would have taken this process a lot further, but given the deadline, this was defined as enough to enable me to built a website.

I used business and customer goals, and feedback from the client, to decide on the information architecture of the 3 page website. I subsequently sketched out thumbnails of each page, recreated in Figma and then built in Webflow.
